Hi guys,
I am turning the big 3-0 on September 8th! In lieu of gifts, cards, phone calls, text messages, hugs & kisses (well maybe just gifts and cards), I am hoping that you will donate $30 (or more!) to Charity:Water. For those of you not familiar, Charity:Water uses 100% of all donations to fund clean water projects around the world. 663 million people in the world (nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide) live without clean water. The majority of these people live in rural areas and spend hours every day walking to collect water for their families. Not only does walking for water keep kids out of school or take up time that parents could be using to earn money, but the water often carries diseases that can make everyone sick. Access to clean water means education, income and health - especially for women and kids.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
Every $30 we raise will provide clean drinking water to 1 person. I am hoping to raise at least $2,500 with your help.
Feel free to pass this along to family and friends and let’s do our part to help those who are less fortunate than us.
Thanks so much,
Chris
