I am so blessed to live in America. I have had trials in my life, and I know what it feels like to suffer, but what I have had to go through is nothing compared to other people in the world. There are people out there dying from starvation and disease from dirty drinking water, and I have never known what it feels like to be truly hungry. I can turn on a faucet and have clean water to wash my face, do the dishes, do the laundry, brush my teeth, and most importantly drink. So many people do not have that luxury. I want to make a difference for those people. It breaks my heart to think of a little girl or boy walking miles just for a drink of water, and the water they do get to drink is filthy. Everyone needs to count their blessings and help those who are less fortunate. We are all different, but when it comes right down to it, we are all people, we all have needs, and we can all help each other. On June 4, 2011 there is going to be a fundraiser in the parking lot by the fieldhouse at New Castle Chrysler High School from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Everyone is welcome.
