Help us achieve John Thomas Gauci's wish for equal access to clean water.

We started this campaign as a family in John's name to celebrate his kind soul and generosity of spirit. An incredible father, husband, relative, and friend, this is a man who wants very little for himself, and often expresses strong empathy with people that are struggling and a desire to do more to help people in need.

On February 17 2023 he will be celebrating his 81st birthday, and it is our hope to surprise him with donations from our family and friends, or anyone that wishes to contribute in his name. I have no doubt that it will bring him great joy to know that such an important difference has been made to the daily lives of individuals and communities.

Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

Access to clean water is the most basic human right. Lack of clean water is often a complete barrier to health, earning a living, getting an education, and community development.

I cannot think of a better way to honour my father, than by starting this legacy campaign is his name and watching it grow over time. It is absolutely fine if it ends up just our immediate family participating, but if John has touched your life in some way (or you enjoyed reading this) please consider adding a small donation here instead of a conventional gift.
