I have enough stuff. For my birthday this year, I'd like to give to others what we so quickly take for granted in our daily lives. Since I'm turning 20, I'm asking my friends and family to give $20 to fund the construction and upkeep of wells in places where water is scarce. If you'd like to give less (or more) than $20, that's okay, but rest assured that 100% of your donation does in fact go to providing useable water to people in need.

If we don't reach $300 in two months, I will personally make up the difference. Even if none of my friends and family donate, people will still receive help. However, for my birthday, I'm asking you to help me help others!

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
