Thank you for helping me celebrate Year 40!

I’ve been recently reminded that millions of people lack a necessity that my family has always had – drinkable water. Unsafe water and poor sanitation means parents struggle to care for their children, kids miss out on school, and preventable disease and death abounds. This has renewed my sense of gratitude and inspired me to involve my family in doing something to help.

Through charity:water, $40 provides clean water to one person through drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters in communities around the world. So $1,600 impacts 40 people. This is my goal for my 40th birthday: water for 40 people in lieu of personal gifts.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
