I was thinking about what I want for my birthday and I realized that I couldn't name anything I'd actually make much use of. So your money is better spent doing something VERY useful--giving people safe, reliable, water.
I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know. 100% of donations will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. That amazing 100% being put to use is exactly why I chose charity: water.
Charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
I know my goal is lofty, but that's how I play it. Besides, I think it might actually be possible. Thanks!
