Even though I live in one of the worst droughts in California's history, I never question that I have access to clean water in America. Around the world, millions of people suffer from disease, starvation, and death because they don't have access to as simple a necessity as a clean water resource.
This year, I'm asking for my friends and family to donate my age in dollars (or whatever you can afford) to help make this world a better place. I can't think of a better way to celebrate my 3 decades of life than to know I can help make even one life a little bit better.
