I'll be turning 21 on July 29 of this year. In the past year, I've become convinced that materialism can't bring any kind of lasting happiness.

So, instead of gifts this year, I want to bless others.

I recently discovered that I am among the top 1% of richest people in the world, which blew me away because my life feels so average.

And it is fairly average by American college student standards.

But I live like royalty compared to the billion people who can't even get a glass of clean water.

I may not feel rich, but I am. This means I've been entrusted with resources, and to not use them to better the lives of others is a needless waste, especially when there is so much that could be done.

I want to stop talking, and start doing. Are you in?
