On April 20th, I will be turning 15 years old.
Instead of receiving gifts this year, I am giving up my birthday and asking that everybody I know donates at least $15 to charitywater.org for my 15th birthday. Your money will go towards building freshwater projects in developing countries. My goal is to raise $1500.
Within 18 months, mycharity:water will show me how the money we raised impacted people in the world.
800 million people on this planet do not have access to clean drinking water, and any amount of money can make a difference. Please join me in raising money so we can change people's lives by providing them with clean and safe drinking water. Thank you so much!
