As I stand at the edge of the void that is my 30th birthday, I find my self thirsty. Thirsty for more from life; more experience, more significance, more impact, more identity, more truth, more friendship, more belonging, and more love. As I considered this thirst within me, I came to a special self awareness: My own thirst is about 'more', but there is a thirst far deeper and truer than my own. The thirst of those without clean and safe drinking water, is a thirst far more significant than my own. That's what this campaign is about. The thirst of thousands around this world. The "Thirsty 30" campaign is about using my 30th birthday to provide thirty people with clean water for the next 20 years. Why? Becasue the daily lives of people in need are an opportunity to better understand our own need. Please join with me in this quest to satisfy the thirst deep within, by making a donation of any amount you can. Together we can take this opportunity, provided by my own thirst at 30, to effect the thirst of 30 others. And perhaps, in some small way, better understand our own thirsty spirits.
