charity: water has brought clean drinking water to over 3 million people in 20 countries via 9,000 water projects. Help me fund a water project! Whether it's wells, rain tanks, biosand filters, or spring systems, it only costs $20/person to protect a village from diseases like E. coli, samonella, cholera, hepatitus A, and schistosoma.
Working with partners and local governments, charity: water figures out the best sustainable water solution for a village, sets up safe latrines, teaches hygiene and hand washing, and installs technology at the water site to allow for remote monitoring.
charity: water has their own funding to cover their overhead, so 100% of the money we donate goes to directly fund water projects in the field. And we get photos and GPS coordinates of the community we help!
