It's something we take for granted every day -- having clean water to drink. My friend Allen turned me on to this charity a few years back stating that "There's a lot of really great charities out there, but at the end of the day a humans most basic need is water". It took a little while, but this sort of hit home for me. As long as I've lived I have never wanted for anything. Sure, my family had money problems, but we always had food on the table and a roof over our heads.

This will be my third year donating my Christmas to this charity. To date I've helped raise $585, sure it's small - a drop in the ocean even, but what is an ocean made up of than millions of drops? All I can ask is that you give whatever you can, and may it count strongly for a better world!
