There are 748 million people in the world living without access to clean water. We get to change that!

My birthday is almost here. I'm not super excited about getting older, but I'm definitely thankful to have lived another healthy year, and I don't take that for granted. I recently learned that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. We can help change that.

I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know--good thing for you I'm still so young! And if you think I'm younger than almost-32, good thing for your wallet. But if the extra buck could save a life, that's a buck well spent.

Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 21 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
