Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.

In the more developed nations of the world, the accessibility of water is easily taken for granted. But without water, life and the food life depends on is not possible. Life began in water. Water is a beginning. Water is hope for the future.

Dorie is our mom, mother-in-law, grandma or Nokie and dear friend. We are celebrating her birthday tomorrow, 11/11. Now, she never talks about her age - you'd be amazed how old she actually is. She always says, "It's all in your attitude!" We were trying to figure out what to get her for her birthday and thought this was a befitting gift that keeps on giving. Dorie is an artist and Reiki master; sending healing every day to family and friends in need. We love her and are proud of the woman she is. Happy Birthday, mom/Nokie! We love you!
