This December I will be running the Dallas White Rock Marathon. I recently asked myself why I wanted to endure the 26.2 mile race and didn't have an answer. I decided I needed a cause. I needed to run not just for me but for something greater than myself. I wanted to prove that even though I'm just a 19 year old college student I can do things on a large scale. So please, donate whatever you can and if you can't donate please pray for my health during training so that I can complete my goal of reaching $5,000 and running the marathon. I know most of the people that read this are in college and don't have bank accounts with cash to spend, but see this donation as a trip to Starbucks or a Saturday night movie. All of the earnings will go towards building wells in Africa so that people that otherwise couldn't drink clean water now can. By building the wells you will add years to these peoples lives and actually be able to see the progress. Realize that water for us is just a couple feet away, but water for many others is miles away.
