On September 20th, I'm turning 21!!
I got this idea from my good friend Namira Islam who raised over $550 for clean water during her recent 23rd birthday. I figured what better way to celebrate my 21st than by giving the gift of water?
I'm asking for $7 from everyone I know - and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater wells in developing nations. Even better, every dollar is "proved" when the projects are complete, and photos and GPS coordinates are posted using Google Earth.
My goal is to raise $500by my birthday, September 20th, 2010.
