Global Renewal Sales, Operations & GBS have been carrying out various community and fundraising activities to try help local communities in their theaters – namely APJ, EMEA and NALA. However never before has the team collectively tried to raise funds and awareness for one cause. EMC Gives Back allows the team to do just that - come together, work as one and do good for many! From May 19th-23rd the team will rally together and participate in various events in APJ, EMEA and NALA to help raise as much money and awareness for the installation of wells in Tigray, Ethiopia. This money will be going to a truly noteworthy cause. Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean! But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Global Renewal Sales, Operations & GBS is aiming to reach $1,000 over the course of the week – please help us make this happen and donate what you can
Every day, 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand Filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
