Dear Friends and Family,
I will be turning 28 on September 26th 2012 and decided to pledge my birthdays to charity: water every year from now on.
If you planned on giving me a small present, or buying me a birthday drink, please donate to my campaign instead. 100% of donations will go directly to charity: water's local projects and help significantly improve people's lives in real time.
Water not only is the single most important source of life but access to clean water also eradicates up to 80% of disease cases in the developing world, allowing enormous savings in healthcare costs, leading to a much better quality of life and prospects to improved social and economic development.
I also welcome donations by anyone else who simply likes the idea. You can start by donating simply $5.
