On December 9, I'm turning 25.
25 seems to be that terrifying age where all you think about are the things you havent done yet and all the things you said you would be but aren't even close to..
At first, this seemed surreal, even daunting.
But then I found out that millions of people don't live to see their fifth birthdays. And why? Because they don't have access to clean, safe water.
So I'm not scared of turning 25 anymore. In fact, I'm celebrating my birthday like never before, and I want you to be a part of it too.
25 is a HUGE milestone for me, I discovered my why for being on this planet. So with a suitcase and a small plan I left everything behind in Australia and flew half way across the world to be a part of charity: water. This place has become my home and the people here my family. I can't even begin to tell you how much charity: water has transformed my life. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my birthday.
I would so love for you to join me on this remarkable journey and celebrate my birthday a little differently this year.
Instead of gifts I would love you to give $25 which is enough to give one person clean drinking water.
Love you
Emm
