Every year we each celebrate a birthday. This year, I will celebrate a quarter century of my life. With each passing year, I continue to affirm my belief that birthdays shouldn't be about receiving gifts, but about sharing love and life.

For my 25th birthday, I wanted to do just that: share some love and life by aiding a water project in a developing nation. So many of us take for granted our access to clean drinking water and forget that so many in this world don't have that luxury. It's one of the most basic of needs, and everyone should have access to it.

My birthday wish this year is to raise at least $500 for charity: water. I know this is a goal we can all reach together and I would love your help getting there.
