There are 800 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that!

A roof over my head, clothes on my back, great food on the table and sometimes on the go :P
good friends and family and a fairly decent looking face. So blessed to feel like I have nothing missing, and I couldn't possibly ask for more than health and happiness for myself and my people... so this year i pledge my birthday to those who are missing even the most basic human need.

My birthday is almost here and I'm really thankful to have lived another happy, healthy year. I recently learned that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. We can help change that.

I'm asking for my age in pounds or dollars from everyone I know. However every penny is dearly appreciated. so there is no minimum donation. please note: This year, I will not accept any gifts apart from the donations made to Charity: water !

I needed an organisation I could follow and be sure of, with Charity Water every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
