This year I will be 15 years old! Turning 15 is a big deal to a lot of girls especially coming from an Hispanic family like mine. I have decided to donate my 15th birthday to this great charity called Charity Water! I have been blessed with so much already and I would like to do something that will benefit others. I recently learned, that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water, which sometimes we take for granted. We can help change that.

Instead of receiving presents or having a big party I am asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
