Every day, 1,400 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses. Let's help change that!
Dear friends and family,
Did you know that 1 in 9 people around the world don't have access to clean, safe drinking water? This is just sad, and leads to desperation, disease and death. After contemplating how I have and use clean water all day long with no limit, I'm joining a group of people who are going to be doing something about it. In support of a 501(c)3 organization called Charity: Water, and together with my community in GigHarborGives, I am donating "my birthday" to help give clean water to villages in Africa who don't have water, let alone clean water.
I was a skeptic at first: "Another charity asking for donations, of course. What about the other worthy causes here in America?" But after checking it out for myself, and praying, it seems like this ... a most basic human physiological need... next to love, there is no greater need in life than clean water.
For my birthday, Mar 31, I asking that you make a small donation to my campaign. Every little bit counts, even if you don't normally buy me a birthday gift, consider something small. https://my.charitywater.org/
Also, what's great about Charity: Water is that 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water project costs in the field. Check it out for yourself, and thanks for considering!
