In just one month, we're headed to France for the Ironman triathlon. We've been training 7 days a week, spending 2 to 7 hours a day swimming, cycling, or running.
A lot of people have asked, what in the world do you think about on a 7 hour bike ride? Well... the first two hours, I think about every detail in how I'm putting power to the pedals. In the third hour, I start to think about how I'd rather be in a hot tub with a beer in one hand and my girl in the other. By the fourth hour, I'm asking myself, why am I doing this to myself again? In the fifth and sixth, I start thinking about all the things that athletes like me could be doing with this absurd amount of energy. And in the final hour, all I can think about is how after I cross the finish line in France, after it's over, I'm going to start working on something huge, something really worthwhile. Why? Because 7 hours in, I'm convinced, I can do anything.
But there's really no reason to wait. We can make an impact today. We've done our homework and found that "charity: water" is doing a lot of good for humanity and is doing it cost-effectively. Triathletes like us have no tolerance for inefficiency. So please, take a few minutes out of your busy day, watch this video, and help us help "charity: water" build a well. They are ready to break ground and just need your financial support!
Good luck superstars!!!!!!!!
Kick some ass & have fun!
