Why Hana Kim is fundraising for clean water

In celebrating the very important Mole Day on October 23, I am raising money to help provide access of many moles of clean H2O to those who currently do not.

Here are some statistics that might surprise you:

- 663 million people on this planet do not have access to clean water. That’s 1 in 11 of us!

- That means 1 out of 11 people in our world is drinking water that comes from a river, lake or muddy hole in the ground every day. Dirty, contaminated water that has leeches and debris in it. Water that causes disease, keeps kids out of school and takes hours to bring back home.

I believe that no one can survive without clean drinking water and that everyone deserves to have access to one.

I picked Charity Water because 100% of the donated money will be used to build clean water projects for people in need. They will even send photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped when it is complete (it takes about 2 years to complete a project).

You can give a little or you can give a lot. No pressure!

I want to thank all of you for:

1) taking the time to read this;

2) considering whether Charity Water is a worthwhile place to donate your hard earned money

With lots of love,
Mole Day Enthusiast aka Hana
