I am very grateful for everything I have in my life and I know that I have a lot. Similarly, I feel like most of us living here in the United States are living pretty decent lives. That is not the case everywhere around the world, though. For this reason, I’m doing something different for my birthday this year.

Did you know that almost 4 million people die each year from water related diseases and in Sub-Saharan Africa women spend on average of 16 hours a week collecting water?

All I want for my birthday is for all of you to donate whatever you can for this fundraiser for clean water. Every dollar makes a difference. Just $20 can give one person access to clean water. 100% of all donations go directly to building clean water projects in developing countries with charity: water.

I want to make my birthday matter this year. I pray that more kids across the world grow up to see their 18th birthday just like I am. I know that $500 is not a lot, but even the smallest donation can make the biggest difference. $500 will give about 25 people clean water. I would love for us to donate more than that, if possible.
