I've got stuff. I've got so much stuff, that I don't need more stuff. Many of you guys have already given me stuff and I thank you for it, but that's stuff enough. Please no more new stuff.

If you want to know what you can get me for my birthday, I thought it'd be nice to give people who need stuff, stuff they need - and that stuff is water. For $500, 25 people can gain access to clean water. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but it'd make 25 people a lot happier and better off. Seems like a good start.

Again, please do NOT bring me stuff on my birthday. Instead, please donate $10, $15, $25, or whatever amount you want to "charity:water" to provide clean water to people in need. The amounts are in US$; though it is a little obnoxious that they don't also price in CDN$, what's more obnoxious, people drinking dirty water that causes diseases or asking for donations in a foreign currency? I may be just 1, but it seems like a no brainer to me.

Please help me to raise $500 to provide clean water to 25 people. 100% of the proceeds go to the projects (overheads for charity:water are covered by their own fundraising). So, every penny you donate goes directly towards giving someone a better life. And, that's really the way that I would like to celebrate my first birthday.
