Last year we raised $556 during our first charity weekend for December Giving which gave 18 people clean water for a lifetime - something a lot of us take for granted.

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

We’re teaming up again to raise money during our first CAMPHitbox stream week August 8-14, 2016. We’ve set our goal a little higher to $500 which we feel we can totally achieve through the help of our campers who will be streaming during the week.

Since Hitbox is an international company we want to give back internationally as much as possible - and make sure as many people have the basic necessities in life.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
