On 07. Februar, I'm turning 25. A quarter of century!!! It doesn't seem real to me =)

Birthday is always a good oppotunity for reflections: what have I done so far, what have I learned and where am I heading to? These questions are not always easy to confront. Though, thinking back, I realise how extremely lucky I am. I was raised with much love and care. I am always surrounded by kind and thoughtful friends and mentors. I was able to find a home in not one or two, but three countries... Yet I've done so little to repay the gifts life gave to me.
Two months ago I came across this wonderful site (making my homework actually). I found out that millions of people don't live to see their fifth birthdays. And why? Because they don't have access to clean, safe water. So I'm not scared of growing "old" anymore. In fact, I'm celebrating it like never before. My New Year's resolution is to raise 250$ by my birthday, 07.02.2013!!! I know, I am reaching for the stars =)) Still I'm asking for a donation from everyone I know - and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations. I'd be thankful if you lend me your helping hand and make my wish come true!
