Yep, they did it. Holly & Bryan are engaged!
Now if you’re like me, first you think ring (it’s gorgeous!), then you want to celebrate (the countdown is on until 11/16/13) and finally you wonder what the heck to give a couple who has everything...
Well, other than being pretty darn funny, we also know that H & B are two of the kindest, most giving people around and in lieu of gifts for the engagement party, they have decided to celebrate their love by doing something different. Rather than dishes and furniture, they’d like to us help give clean, safe drinking water to people in need.
This is where charity: water comes in. Some facts:
• People in America spend more than $100 billion on weddings each year.
• At the same time, about 800 million people in developing countries still don't have clean drinking water.
Just $20 can change someone's life there, and 100% of the money raised will directly fund charity: water projects in the field. When those projects are complete, we'll all get photos and GPS coordinates to see the lives we changed together.
Consider this the official engagement registry. Please celebrate the marriage of two amazing people by making a donation!
Thank you two so much for including us and congrats!
Congratulations you two!
Congratulations you guys! Hugs - Kirk and Quentin
Congrats, lovelies!
Happy engagement from Sean and Steve!
