goal
At Jack Morton Worldwide we create brand experiences that inspire action. So when we learned of the water crisis facing nearly 1 in 8 people on the planet, we knew we needed to get involved.
In Africa alone, women walk nearly 4 miles every day to look for water and must carry it back to their families in cans weighing up to 40 lbs. The water is infested with germs that cause disease, but they have no other choice.
Over the next few months, our Detroit office will be raising funds to help bring clean, safe drinking water to those in need. To boost awareness, our SVP Ted Przybocki has decided to experience first hand the burden so many must bear. On June 22nd Ted, along with others in our office, will complete a 4-mile walk carrying a 5-gallon Jerry can filled with 40 pounds of water.
How you can help…
A small donation of just $10, $20 or $30 dollars will go a long way toward helping us reach our goal of $5,000 - the cost to provide a village of 250 people with clean, safe drinking water. 100% of the money raised is used to directly fund our project and when it is complete, charity: water will provide us with GPS coordinates and photos of the community we helped and the lives we changed.
Thanks for your support!
