Donating to this campaign can change everything simply because water changes everything. One billion people on our planet don't have access to clean water. Of these people about 6500 die everyday from water born illnesses and a lack of sanitation. That turns out to be about one death every nineteen seconds. So in the time I have been writing this message about three people have died from dirty water and a lack of sanitation. To me that is just unacceptable. Not only will donating help save lives but it will also help change people's lives forever. A clean water source will allow women in underdeveloped countries to spend their time in school, work, or with their families instead of walking three hours everyday to get dirty water while risking their safety as well. With fresh water, villages can start to grow gardens, school attendance rises, and equality among all people is created due to females being a part of the water committees that oversee the functionality of the water points in their villages. JUST 20 DOLLARS CAN GIVE ONE PERSON CLEAN WATER. If only 1000 of the students at SME, which is a little over half, donated 20 dollars each then five villages/communities will receive a water well full of clean water. That alone can save thousands of lives. So please, help me out and donate to save lives one well at a time. If not you who?, and if not now when?
