This holiday season we would like to start a community of friends, family, and colleagues who can come together around a common goal: to build a well that will bring clean water to a village of people who desperately need it. These children, women, and men are some of the over 600 million people in the world who don’t have access to their most basic need: safe drinking water. The global water crisis is a human rights issue and affects girls and women in the harshest ways. Females of all ages are almost always responsible for walking hours a day to the nearest water source only to fill their canisters with filthy, diseased, and dangerous water. Clean water is deeply related to disease control, women’s rights, education, and the environment. The good news is this problem is solvable!

As we have learned more about Charity:Water, we have become inspired and excited to join an initiative that is so committed to this issue. They are transparent about fund allocation and 100% of the money we raise will go directly to providing clean water for people in need. It will not pay salaries or any other operational expenses.

We know we can’t do this alone and we feel very grateful to have so many people in our lives who share our passion for doing what’s right. Every donation helps and every person you can inspire to contribute will bring us closer to our goal. This is not an individual campaign. It’s all of ours to build together. It takes a village to save a village!

Once the project is complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
