Every day, 1,400 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses. We can make a difference together!

Jacob's 23rd birthday is exactly one month away from today. I recently learned that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. We can help change that.

Instead of a fancy birthday gift from me (Jenna) I wanted to start an annual fundraising event in honor of Jacob for his birthday each year. You can still get him a gift, I don't want to take that away from him haha, but every bit counts to help others. I'm asking for Jacob's age in dollars, but if that is too much any amount helps. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 21 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped. I think it sounds like a pretty cool addition to a birthday celebration, right?!
