For our wedding we wanted to include a couple charities for people to donate to as an alternative to buying something off the registry. Charity:Water is one of our favorite charities because it makes a very personal and lasting impact on a global scale. The domino effect of having easy access to clean drinking water may take years or decades to unfold, but it is well (hah!) worth it.

Charity:Water operates on a quarterly basis so all campaigns end every quarter. Unfortunately our wedding is in the 4th quarter of the year and we're starting this campaign in the 3rd quarter of the year. We will update with a second campaign once this quarter ends (hence the 1/2 in the title)

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
