On September 12, I'm turning 25 and on September 24, Mike is turning 31.
At first, this seemed surreal, even daunting. And talk about quarter-life crisis!
But then I found out that millions of people don't live to see their 5th birthday. And why? Because they didn't have access to clean, safe water.
So we're not scared of turning 25 & 31 anymore. In fact, we're celebrating our birthdays like never before.
We're asking for $25 (or how ever much you can afford. Even $5 can go a long way!) from everyone we know - and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater projects in developing nations. Even better, every dollar is "proved" when the projects are complete, and photos and GPS coordinates are posted using Google Earth.
Our goal is to raise $5000.
