FRIENDS AND FAMILY!
My birthday is November 28th and I have asked these three kids that live with me, to make me a birthday card, and to donate $11 to Charity Water to celebrate my 36th Birthday. They agreed, and I agreed to match their donation, so that I also could celebrate the absurdity that I have always had clean water to drink, to bath in, and to use. These kids too, were born in a space and time and family that has given them unlimited access to clean water.

I am, and they are, damn lucky.

And so we choose gratitude for this simple necessesity that we take for granted.
And we choose to partner with Charity Water to give at least 12 people access to clean water.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
