Jedz goal is to raise £7500 to fund a well...here's our story:

In November 2017, John Thompson (aka JT & MD of Jedz) went to a presentation by Scott Harrison, who heads up Charity: water.

He left the event inspired to do something.

It would have been fairly straightforward to “just” make a donation and then get on with life, knowing that he'd “done his bit”. But, somehow, that wasn’t enough.

Over that Christmas, John was visiting family in Cyprus and had some time to think, and talk to his son Ed about some of the world’s problems and what we should and could be doing to make a difference.

(Ed is 20, studying Business Entrepreneurship at the University of Southampton and he has a social conscience)

Two problems came to the surface pretty quickly:

1. The millions of tonnes of plastic in the oceans
2. The fact that millions of people don’t have access to safe water.

Long story short, our solution is the birth of “Jedz” (you can tell we spent ages coming up with the name - John + Ed = Jedz).

We provide stylish, reusable, insulated stainless steel water bottles that keep water super cool (or super hot if that’s what you prefer).

The more people that use Jedz bottles, the more we’re able to make a dent in the 16 million plastic bottles that are thrown away every single day in the UK alone.

The bit that we’re really proud of is that for every bottle that’s sold, we’ll make a donation to Charity: water. (£1 for every bottle sold.)

We believe in a future where every single person on the planet has access to clean and safe water. 100% of the money we raise will be used to build clean water projects for people in need, and when the projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos, GPS coordinates, and information about the community we helped.

1 in 10 people still lack access to clean water, but we can change that! Thank you for joining me in this campaign and giving what you can to help bring clean water to more people.
