Every year, people ask me what I want for my birthday. I need for nothing right now - no bauble, item of clothing, doo-dad, etc. however much appreciated. I don't need a birthday that includes gifts (well, maybe a great cake. I like cake.)

However, most of you reading this have no idea what it's like to truly be thirsty on a daily basis. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilet tanks is clean enough to drink! Many people around the world don’t have that luxury…

EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. 1,400+ children (not including the adults around them) die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation - even in the USA, where clean water resources are becoming more and more rare. - but it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and cost effective BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world and those struggling to deal with polluted water resources at home.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone and everyone reading this who can help me.
