There are 800 million people in the world living without access to clean water. We're working to change that!
Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
Every day, 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday.
We can change that! There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand Filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
gig harbor gives started this fundraising campaign in an attempt to raise $1,000,000 to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and we're looking for people to help.
We are riding 300 miles over the summer and donating a dollar per mile. Please donate to our campaign. Help us play a small part in solving the water crisis.
100% of everything we raise will directly fund water projects. And when those projects are finished, charity: water will send us proof in pictures and GPS coordinates, so we can see the actual people and communities we impacted.
