This year I'm celebrating my birthday differently. I don't want presents or drinks. I want clean water.

Women and children around the world walk hours every day to collect water for their families. And the worst part is the water they collect can make them really sick. We can actually do something about it. Just $20 can give a person clean water to drink.

The best part is that 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water projects around the world, and when those projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the impact we made. I can't think of a better birthday gift or a better way to celebrate my birthday.

My charity: water campaign ends soon, and I still have over $1000 to go to reach my goal. So many people have helped me get this far, and it's not too late to join us!

Clean drinking water is a privilege most of us don't even think about. This is my way of giving back, of saying thanks (and please forgive me) for all the Smart water I drink daily, for all the showers I take that are wayy too long, and for the occasional luxurious bath, and Korean spa visit, and for swimming in the valley, and the three cups of tea I drink daily.
