My birthday is around the corner. Every year, my family and friends give me gifts, throw parties for me and make me feel very loved. This year however, I would like to ask all my family and friends to donate to charity, instead of giving me gifts.

Did you know that everyday, almost a BILLION people on Earth have no access to clean drinking water? Some people are aware that the little water that they have is contaminated with germs that cause dehydration, diseases and even death - but they have no choice.

About 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. However, there are solutions to solve this.

There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
