This is a campaign my sisters and I started in honor of my mother's last request.

JoAnn had a heart for disadvantaged children and families. In lieu of flowers, JoAnn requested that donations be used to build wells for communities in need. At her bedside a few days before she passed, we asked her if there were any particular charities she wanted us to honor in her name, she nodded and mustered up the energy to whisper the word "water..."

We know the goal of raising $10,000 seems ambitious to honor one life, but we know our mothers life was significant to many and her legacy can live on through impacting others lives...even strangers in another country. Just $20 will impact one person for a lifetime of clean water - together, I think we can impact a village, but if you can't - just help one.

We cannot think of a better way to honor such a self-less and compassionate woman. We love you mom and we will miss you deeply...
