On April 17 I'm turning 36 years old.
Incredibly, millions of kids don't live to see even their 5th birthday, and its all because they don't have access to (clean) water! Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
So this year I'm celebrating my birthday in a different way.
I'M ASKING YOU FOR A DONATION - 100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
Some of you may know I have been donating a percentage of my earnings from Josh Meister Photo to charity:water for the past year. I truly believe in this organization and what they're doing. Will you please help me make a difference in this world?
My goal is to raise $2,017 by my birthday, April 17th. I'll start this campaign with a $250 donation.
