On May 28th Joshua is turning 1!!
We have been very blessed throughout this year and we want his birthday to be a blessing to someone else. When he's older and asks how we celebrated his first birthday we want to tell him that his birthday made a difference and how thanks to him people got to drink clean water!!
We found out that millions of people don't live to see their fifth birthdays... And why? Because they don't have access to clean, safe water.
Every penny of the money we raise in this campaign will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll be able to see the communities we've helped!
Our goal is to raise $700 by his birthday, 5/28/12.
