We were inspired by Francis Chan's book Crazy Love to give up small luxuries such as dinner out, coffee, or a new DVD to purchase watermelons for our church food pantry. It felt amazing to do something good for other people, in God's name. We wanted to challenge ourselves to do something bigger by contributing to those less fortunate every month. We both liked this charity and think it would be amazing to hit $5000 so that we can provide one village with their very own well. We encourage you to look at the things you spend money on every month that you really don't need and consider giving up even just one dollar to help those in need. We look forward to embarking on this journey.
