Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water -- and even swim in backyard pools for fun!

I recently read the book, "Thirst" by Scott Harrison, a once NYC club promoter turned charity: water CEO. He illustrates that so many people around the world drink dirty, bacteria infested water because they don't have another source. In fact, every day, about 1,400 children the same ages as Madison, Charlie, Penny and Polly DIE from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. The crazy thing is, this issue is PREVENTABLE. These people only need drilled wells to locate the clean water. My life is so blessed. I can't sit back and do nothing.

Join me as we help fund a well for a community that needs our help. Charity: water will even help us locate which well we're helping to fund via GPS coordinates and photos of the finished well! If you aren't interested in donating or don't trust charities, that's ok. I simply encourage you to read "Thirst" by Scott Harrison. I could. not. put. it. down. It's truly an amazing story.

This year, I'm asking friends and family to donate $32 (in lieu of a gift) for my 32nd birthday. If you can't donate $32, -- anything you can give is a huge help. I've already donated $32 to get it started!

Scott is firm that 100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects. In fact, his staff's salaries are paid by separate, private donors.
