Every year I spend my birthday campaigning for clean water and have had the joy of seeing my friends come alongside me making donations both big and small.
This year, in hopes of making an even greater impact, Richard & I are combining both of our birthdays and our wedding anniversary into a campaign for clean water. Our hope is that our friends will make a global impact with us by donating in honor of my 26th birthday (Nov. 17th), Richard's 27th birthday (Dec. 29th), or celebrate 7 years of marriage with us (Dec. 31st) by raising six hundred and sixty-three dollars.
Why $663? Because 663 million people on the planet don’t have access to life’s most basic need. That’s right, 663 million human beings—just like you and me—struggle to find water every single day.
Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
Please, donate to our campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

Our goal to reach by the close of campaign - on December 30th - is $663, representative of the 663 million people without clean water around the world. Because of 6 awesome donors we have already reached $100 and 3 people will get clean water, THANK YOU! At the close to the campaign the money we've raised will be combined with other campaigns to create one fully funded water project in a developing world community. It'll take 18-22 months, but at the completion of the project charity: water will "prove it' by sending us a project report showing just how our dollars were put to use. All donations are tax deductible.I don't need anything for my birthday, but 663 million people need clean water, everyday. So if you'd like, please donate.
