I love people. I want people to have beautiful, long lives full of joy and silliness, laughter and friends. But if you're worried about simply staying alive, the beauty of life is nothing short of luxury. Seems crazy, doesn't it? That people spend all day and all night wondering how they are going to find water for themselves and for their family.

See, we hardly ever think about our water. It's always there and we can always get as much as we need whenever we need. And it's always clean. But what if we had to walk hours and hours to get water from a stinking, dirty puddle? What if we had to fight the pain of blistered feet and stiff backs to get water that will probably make us sick? We'd think a lot about water then, and very little about funny stories or the silliness of friends.

In just a few short months my friends and I will be graduating High School, saying goodbye, and heading out into the big, big world. But before we leave, we want to turn our thoughts from scholarships and prom and think about kids and families that live without clean water.

We decided to ask our friends, families, churches, and clubs to join us as we try to provide them with the biggest necessity of life: water.

We are truly blessed. We have friends to laugh with, families that care about us and clean, sparkling water. It is time for us to stop relishing our blessings and start blessing others. This problem will not be solved in our lifetime, but we have the opportunity to touch lives--lives thirsting for love; thirsting for water.
