Hello everyone! My name is Katie Beversluis, I live in Arizona and I am a freshman in college. I am an honors college student, and as a part of my honors project, I decided to dedicate my entire project to raising money for a charity that means the most to me, Charity: Water.
As some of you may know, there are people around the globe without access to clean water. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world; and thanks to Charity: Water, all of this is possible.
I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
I'm asking anyone and everyone to please donate to my campaign. I've set my goal pretty high to raise $1000 -- any donation whether it be large or small is a huge help.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
Thank you so much!
